HUE I66
Defender 110 / GMLT4 / Keswick Green
The first-ever production Land Rover came off the line in 1948 and was assigned the HUE I66 number plate which started its journey to become the most iconic 4x4 ever produced. Fast forward 73 years and the “Hue I66” Land Rover has been reimagined by our team at our facility in South Carolina.
The HIMALAYA HUE I66 signals a strategic shift from our team to a decidedly more modern vehicle platform where only the classic styling of the exterior Defender body remains. Powered by a fiery new factory supercharged GM LT4 engine coming in at 650hp, smoothly paired with an eight-speed transmission, the Grasmere Green Defender is the most refined truck to come off our line yet.
This reimagined HIMALAYA HUE I66 incorporates a four-link coilover suspension, new Dynatrac axles alongside a custom Brembo disc brake set-up. The result, an iconic classic with modern drivability that can be easily serviced for many years to come.
